Your Impact
Hearst Enthusiast Group (Runner’s World, Bicycling, Popular Mechanics, Biography.com and Best Products) is looking for a Senior Features Editor to identify and execute feature stories that support the group’s print, Apple News+, loyalty, and membership goals and make an impact within and beyond our endemic communities.
The Senior Features Editor will combine the craft of storytelling with sound journalism principles to pitch, assign, and edit—or occasionally write—stories that range from deeply reported narratives to fast-turn features to thoroughly informative packages across all platforms of the Enthusiast brands.
The ideal candidate is a prolific idea generator with experience developing features for editorial publications, the ability to think broadly and critically, and a track record of publishing impactful long-form journalism. This role will report to the Executive Features Director.

The base salary for this role is $68,829 – $78,000. The base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
