The Solutions Engineer architects, engineers, implements, administers, configures, supports, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains enterprise applications. The Solutions Engineer works closely with the business units to define and implement solutions according to business strategies and goals.
Essential Duties:

Architects, designs, engineers, implements, administers, configures, supports, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains enterprise applications including but not limited to O365, Azure and the Atlassian Suite
Acts as business analyst and project manager working with different departments and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather and translate their business requirements
Becomes the champion of the assigned enterprise programs or technologies by being the go-to person for any new implementations and/or improvements following industry best practices
Manages multiple projects keeping stakeholders updated and working on action items and setting deadlines
Promotes user adoption of internal enterprise applications
Provides usage metrics and analyzes return of investment of enterprise applications
Creates workflow and collaboration solutions
Works with end users to collect and analyze business requirements and implement solutions
Provides production support and maintenance for assigned systems
Ensures quality by testing solutions for proper operation with minimal defects
Creates and executes project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements
Follows change control processes and maintenance plans
Keeps enterprise applications patched and secure
Writes documentation and assists with business proposals
Develops custom applications and APIs integrations
Automates repetitive tasks using PowerShell, C# or alternate

SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Ability to develop custom application(s) using C#, PowerShell, .Net Core or alternate
Ability to function as a team player and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison and making presentations to internal customers or professional peers
Ability to automate processes and manage priorities effectively to achieve optimal results
Ability to develop technical specifications and interpret business requirements
Windows Server administration
Working knowledge of O365 and Azure administration
Proficient as a SharePoint Developer
Solid understanding of IIS, Active Directory and DNS
Ability to build PowerShell scripts
Proficient with Azure DevOps
Familiar with DevOps and Software Lifecyle management
Ability to generate reports using Power BI, Tableau, SSRS or similar
