The Field Representative II at Ricoh is responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of company products and systems at customer locations within a specific geographic area. This role requires excellent technical skills, customer relations abilities, and the capability to manage inventory and territory effectively.
Responsibilities:
Achieving expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience.
Managing territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
Demonstrating technical expertise in servicing and repairing equipment, including diagnostics, installation, and retrofits.
Identifying and driving revenue-generating opportunities through various means such as supply leads, contract sales, and equipment assessments.
Providing customer training on printing functions and offering technical assistance to less experienced technicians.
Executing all required territory management and call handling procedures.
Working closely with sales partners to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities.
Maintaining a "car stock" inventory and completing all required administrative tasks accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
Typically requires journeyman-level technical knowledge obtained through completion of technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
Must possess a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per company policy.
Strong working knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuitry, electronics, and digital competency.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to read and comprehend written technical information.
Proficiency in PC's and associated software applications.
