Showroom Sales Consultant at ManpowerGroup in Fairfield, New Jersey

Job Description:

 Ferguson, North America’s leading distributor in residential and commercial markets, seeks a Showroom Sales Consultant to join their team. The role involves selling a range of products like lighting, appliances, fixtures, and cabinetry to diverse clientele including builders, designers, and homeowners.

Responsibilities:

• Sell products to customers, providing accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
• Welcome and engage guests in the showroom, understanding their needs and building lasting relationships.
• Prepare job quotations and submittals.
• Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, using suggestive sales techniques and resolving complaints promptly.
• Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm day off during week (on Saturdays working 10am-5pm) 

This is a commission eligible role. The estimated total compensation range is $75k - $100k annually.

Qualifications:

• Preferably, prior sales experience in plumbing fixtures, lighting, and/or cabinetry.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to interact with diverse customers with varying product knowledge.
• Basic understanding of design and interior decorating.
• Proficiency in consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for customer needs.
