RECYCLING YARD ATTENDANT

Part-Time, Recycling Yard Attendant Opportunity

Borough Of River Edge (Bergen County)

 

The Borough of River Edge is accepting employment application for one part-time Recycling Yard Attendant with a start date of July 1, 2024. Under the direction of the Superintendent, the appointee will maintain a presence when the Recycling Center is open to ensure its safe and efficient operation; and will participate in the overall supervision of the Recycling Center to ensure compliance with the mandated recyclable materials policy of the Borough. The appointee will perform such other related duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or Recycling Coordinator of the Department of Public Works.

 

This is a part-time position, not to exceed twenty-nine (29) hours, rotating schedule, Monday through Friday. Hours will vary. Salary is $25.50 per hour, as per union contract. High school education/GED is required, must be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid NJ driver’s license. Previous labor experience is a plus.
