The Software Engineer designs and develops desktop surface acquisition and control software system which is used by the field engineers at the wellsite to perform the drilling and wireline oil field services.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Design, implement and test the system which satisfy key acquisition system responsivities (functionalities, reliability, performance, others as relevant).
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
B.S./M.S./PhD in Science or Engineering with desk top software development experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position/s
Windows UI design/coding, MFC, WPF
Unit testing
Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD
Understand the system view in the context of the acquisition system (physics - sensor/actuator-acquisition/control instrumentation - acquisition software (acquire/control, compute, monitor, workflows)
Notions of real-time data and control systems
Self-Driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
Experience on lab testing the entire system including hardware and software
