Location: Erie, PA (Relocation assistance available)
Salary: $115,000 to $140,000 (DOE)

Kelly is searching for a highly motivated and results-oriented leader to manage our US Supplier Development Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supplier development, ensuring we have the best partners to deliver high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Lead the Supplier Development Engineering department, including direct supervision of Supplier Development Engineers (SDE's)
Coach and mentor SDE's, developing their skills and preparing them for future growth within the company
Participate in new product development and product life cycle management teams
Partner with procurement to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for purchased parts
Lead supplier cost savings projects through process improvements and design changes
Act as a liaison between Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers
Ensure the quality of purchased parts and services from suppliers
Monitor supplier performance and provide ongoing feedback
Lead re-sourcing efforts to support corporate goals
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field
5-10+ years of experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
A passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement
The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
