Responsibilities:
Serve as AS9100 Management Representative
Manage and supervise the activities of the Quality Department including training, scheduling, performance goals, employee evaluations, nonconforming, scrap, calibration, visual and dimensional inspection of purchased product, in-process and final components and assemblies
Ensure the quality of work done throughout the organization meets or exceeds company and customer requirements
Ensure the Quality Management System is updated and maintained throughout the organization and reporting on the performance of the QMS
Coordinate inspection activities to meet production and scheduling needs
Take immediate action to correct quality problems as they arise
Communicate quality or supplier issues to Management
Coordinate and scheduling outside training as needed and maintain training records
Work to resolve problems throughout the organization
Assist personnel whenever possible and in a manner deemed proper to produce products conforming to company and customer requirements
Perform internal and external process and supplier audits per AS9100D requirements
Compile data analysis for Management Reviews
Troubleshoot quality issues as needed to determine root cause and assist with resolution
Initiate and manage Corrective and Preventive Action Process
Serve as Quality representative for all "Contract - kick-off meetings", MRB's, and any other meeting requiring Quality presence or input. May assign a delegate as appropriate or required
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects
Strong Communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Use of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Serve as Safety Coordinator

Education and Training:
Bachelor Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor
ISO 9000 Lead Auditor, AS9100 Lead Auditor
FAA part 145 experience and/or A&P license preferred
Technical Requirements:
Five to Seven years as a Quality Inspector, Technician, Internal Quality System Auditor
