Our client is seeking a Refresh Technician in Anaheim, CA.
Role Description • Verification of orders. • Separate equipment orders per instructions from client. • Unbox all equipment orders. • Confirm serial numbers and orders received. • Equipment assembly. • Power-up and test equipment for functionality. • client asset tag application • Database, worksheet/ticket administration or CMDB updates • Confirmation computer equipment is ready for configuration process. • Follow-up and communication with client management. • Coordination and completion of end user computer setup appointments. • Delivery of completed equipment orders to client locations. • Quality assurance testing. • Remove all boxing and packaging materials. • Coordination of computer equipment to be picked-up or delivered. • Delivery of completed computer equipment to Equipment Depot. • Storage capacity management. • Confirm for further computer equipment disposal or donation. • Professional end-user client service efforts, including communications and follow-up. • Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities • Serve as an informed and reliable member of TTI by anticipating and satisfying customer and management requests for information or service in a timely and professional manner-- no justifiable customer complaints • Communicate in a positive, cooperative manner with co-workers • Perform daily reporting requirements • Respect and adhere to all TTI policies and procedures
Long-term Duties: • Actively and enthusiastically participate in the development and improvement of TTI service operations • Professionally represent and protect the interest of TTI in all interactions with customers, vendors, employees • Improve technical proficiency • Pursue and successfully complete any offered/available required manufacturer or TTI training courses to heighten personal proficiency
Skills & Requirements
1-2 years experience in IT Support/IMACD including:
o Imaging PCs, Macs, and Microsoft tablets
o Installing packaged software applications, and peripheral items
o Software troubleshooting, repairs, moves and disposals. • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems such as 8, 10, and 11 • Familiarity with MacOS • Ability to install and properly configure multiple software packages (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) • Excellent oral/written communication skills • Adequate speech clarity and hearing to communicate efficiently with clients both on-site and via telephone interactions • Satisfactory mobility to independently satisfy on-site deployments/ moves • Physical strength adequate to carry/move tools and equipment • Must be able to deal with high pressure situations and time constraints effectively • Position requires moderate lifting (up to approx. 60 lbs) • Adequate vision and dexterity to disassemble, reassemble and operate computer systems and peripherals in small spaces • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time • Ability to walk between various client buildings in a campus environment and/ or ability to walk between and around building floors
