This individual will specifically support the Construction brand and must possess previous industry experience.

As Controller, you will have oversight of all company financial activity and accountability for departmental compliance against internal and external regulatory standards. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of company financial operation, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyzes financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Lead monthly and year-end closing procedures.
Develop and implements strong system of internal controls to ensure organizational compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and productivity.
Provide financial analytics and insight, leading to informed business decisions at all levels of the organization.
Maintain relationships with external partners, including public accounting contacts (audit and tax).
Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or related program degree.
CPA designation strongly preferred.
Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
Proven leadership experience at the Controller level within a dynamic, continually evolving environment.
Advanced knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
Advanced proficiency in use of ERP accounting systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated analytical aptitude and understanding of balance sheet reconciliation and financial statement preparation
Effectively communicate complex financial data at all levels of the organization, ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment with company goals and objectives.
