Robert Half is working with a client in the Hospitality industry that is offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join their team in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In this role, you will be tasked with preparing financial reporting, monthly reconciliations, and overseeing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
This role also involves interaction with clients and assisting with various other departmental needs. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to month end closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP
Work closely with team members and department heads to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
3+ years' of professional accounting experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
