Robert Half is partnering with a growing healthcare company in Englewood, CO to add an experienced Controller to their team. They are looking for a CPA with prior experience working in the healthcare industry. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate must be able to work in the Englewood office 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, financial reporting, cash management, state and local tax filings, month end close process, etc.
Manage, develop, and build out accounting team.
Lead the annual audit process with external auditors.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Cycle Management team on accounts receivables, bad debt write offs, etc.
Oversee cash management on a daily/weekly basis to determine cash requirements. Assist with banking requirements and cash management/forecasting.
Assist companies acquired or merged into existing accounting practices and processes.
Analyze and report monthly variances in revenue and expense.
Lead month-end closing process including posting and/or reviewing adjusting journal entries and producing information related to financial reporting packages going to various stakeholders.
Assist CFO with more complex projects as needed.
Qualifications
Accounting experience in the healthcare industry
CPA required
Controller/leadership experience for large to mid-size companies
