AR Collector at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri

Job Description:

Beacon Hill Financial is currently recruiting for various AR Collector roles throughout the St. Louis area. Roles are paying between $18.50-$25/hr depending on experience. If interested, please apply.


The AR Collector will be making outbound collection calls to customers to resolve customer billing issues and collect payment. Job duties include:

• On average minimum of 30-50 outbound calls to customers per day in order to resolve billing issues or collect payment


• On average receive minimum 10-20 inbound calls per day from customers


• Identify account delinquencies, monitor assigned accounts and applicable collection reports


• Provide follow up on payment arrangements


• Evaluate Cash Sales Accounts


• Update customer information including purchase order numbers, contact names, credit card information, phone numbers in Sage 100


• Offer customer service over all calls and written correspondence over email


• Working on multiple computer screens and platforms

The qualified candidate must come from a customer service-oriented background where they have handled payment calls to customers over the phone and over written correspondence. Other qualifications include:

• Minimum 2 years experience in corporate collections with large customer base


• Experience with Word, Excel and working on multiple screens at a time


• Customer Service Experience, Office Administrative, Gentle/Soft Collections

Candidates who come from strong business to business collections are typically not a good fit since this is a customer service-oriented collections role.
