Get to Know This Role

This highly visible, key role is responsible for providing superior service for internal and external customers, vendors, and any guests of the brewery. The Front Office Coordinator is a first impression team member and is an ambassador for the brand and the company. This position acts as the gatekeeper for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and is responsible for maintaining composure and professionalism while providing overall brewery administrative support and excellent guest service in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What You Will Do



  • Greet and interact with customers, handling inquiries and directing them according to specific needs; when possible, resolving customer issues through empathy, active listening and creative problem solving. Utilize and manage our Visitor Management System software, checking in all onsite visitors, properly following safety, and security policies, and issuing visitor badges and needed PPE.

  • Answering the main phone lines for the brewery, fields questions with appropriate phone etiquette. Maintain telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.

  • Oversee/process day-to-day administrative items, mail, overnight mail, packages, expense reports, checks, petty cash fund, etc. Responsible for ordering office supplies for all departments, maintaining back stock and inventory of office supplies, and reconciling purchases monthly. Track and replace office supplies as necessary to avoid interruptions in standard company and front office procedures. Photocopying, filing, applying postage, sending faxes, and periodic data entry. Coordination of company vehicle schedules.

  • Develop and maintain Front Office procedures and efficiencies, systematically update these standard operating procedures in Controlled Documents. Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations (this includes portions of the administrative office space). Maintaining employee and department directories and keeping updated versions in Controlled Documents.

  • Maintain employee breakrooms coffee supplies, ordering coffee and supplies such as milk, sugars, etc., and managing the coffee vendors distribution onsite.

  • Special project support such as web reviews, employee Wellness project support, etc. Administrative support to multiple departments within the brewery with the ability to flex into other guest experience departments including the Gift Shop and Tours

  • Completes monthly and quarterly administrative processes including reconciling Front Office purchases, employee anniversary card distribution, etc.

  • Working with local hotel partners to secure company rate contracts and assisting employees when booking at these partner hotels

  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly team meetings

  • Responsible for limited paycheck distribution, reimbursement distribution and other employee-related activities all while maintaining confidentiality in HR/AP related aspects of the company

  • 2 years Administrative support experience required: working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and professionalism while providing cheerful, informative service over the phone and in person required




  • Strong organizational skills

  • Highly proficient administrative skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to positively and actively engage with guests

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook

  • Ability to work successfully across multiple departments of the organization including collaboration with other geographic locations for Sierra Nevada

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment (phones, vendors, guests, customers, employees)

  • Knowledge of craft beer and the beer industry is preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs and comfortable working on a computer
