The Quantitative, Translational and ADME Sciences Department at Company in North Chicago, IL is seeking a highly motivated teammate to operate in an LCMS-based quantitative bioanalytical role and support research and development projects.
The successful candidate will be in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision once trained. The candidate will be responsible for quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules, data analysis and interpretation, and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS of small molecules from in-vitro and in-vivo bio-matrices to support ADME and PK/PD studies.
Operate and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS instrumentation and perform routine maintenance of LC-MS/MS equipment.
Work closely with multiple teams to support bioanalyses.
Maintain excellent documentation of all work including electronic lab notebooks, methods, and protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education), with typically 0-5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with no additional experience.
Experience with quantitative bioanalysis of small molecules.
Hands-on experience with one or more current LC-MS/MS platforms (e.g., Sciex Triple Quads, Agilent HPLCs, Shimadzu HPLCs, LEAP autosamplers, ADDA) and software (e.g., Analyst, Discovery Quant, Leadscape, Electronic Laboratory Notebook).
Familiarity with automated sample preparation platforms.
A good understanding of analytical methods for small molecule quantification.
Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision to conduct experiments, as well as interpret, document, and communicate results.
Ability to balance generating high quality data within the limitations of a high-throughput environment.
Ability to work effectively with teammates in a dynamic environment, and the ability to self-motivate, multitask, meet frequent tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
