Job Summary

You will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, including layout design, workflow optimization, and equipment upgrades.
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process efficiency improvements.
• Design and implement process control systems to monitor and maintain process parameters within specified tolerances.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction, waste elimination, and quality improvement.
• Provide technical support to production teams to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate new technologies and equipment for potential integration into manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process engineering and optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex processes and data sets.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB).
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for manufacturing processes.
