Starting Pay: $65k/annually

Your Opportunity:

The Herff Jones Sales Team is looking for an Inside Sales Representative, Commercial Frames to join our HJ Family.

Your focus will be on following qualifying leads, hunting new business opportunities, and maintaining a healthy pipeline for the Commercial Frame segment of our business.

Here's How You'll Make Impact:

In the role of Inside Sales Representative for Commercial Frames, you will serve as a key leader in growing the commercial sales channel for Herff Jones, with an emphasis on acquisition. You will have multiple daily and weekly interactions with our team of cross-functional sales leaders, and customers to secure additional sales. You will work closely with Marketing to provide constant feedback on voice of customer and promoting the continuous improvement of the overall selling activities. The relationships with other members of the sales team and your ability to spend every day linking leads and connections to generate new business, will ultimately determine success in the role.

What We Want You To Accomplish:


  • Meet annual sales quotas.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the marketplace, product offering and programs between Framing Success and its competitors.
  • Execute daily cadence of prospecting and conversations to qualify leads and create new qualified opportunities through cold calling, virtual meetings, in-person meetings, social media, email, etc.
  • Collaborate with other members of the College Sales team to build a scalable, repeatable, top-of-funnel process.
  • Share, learn, and collaborate with team members to develop strategies, improve execution, and ideas that drive great team results and success.
  • Create relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Become intimately involved in opportunity tracking through the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Be viewed as a key representative of Framing Success at trade shows, and similar events to create business opportunities.
  • Grow sales within existing accounts.

What You'll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:


  • Move leads through the funnel, arranging virtual or in-person meetings or connecting via email or phone calls.
  • Maintain a pre-determined new business pipeline that supports annual sales quota attainment.
  • Filter qualified leads from other prospects and set sales appointments for presentations (in-person or virtual).
  • Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest in learning more about Framing Success products or services.
  • Work through lists of targeted prospects for outreach and to select personnel at various associations.
  • Work closely with Sales Development to align on targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business.
  • Support the overall customer relationship management process, recording all activities while profiling potential prospects via predetermined criteria.
  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute campaigns/promotions and provide feedback to maximize impact.
  • Hold annual business review meetings with top 20 accounts.

What You'll Bring To The Table:


  • Success in a Sales, Marketing or business-related field.
  • Proven success in communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management and telephone/email etiquette.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships across functions and locations using a variety of mediums.

Education / Certifications Required:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales or marketing in lieu of degree, considered.

Physical Activities:

Daily activity includes but is not limited to:


  • Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
  • Reading, communication, basic math.
  • Be able to regularly lift/move up to 40lbs.
