The Herff Jones Operations team is looking for a graduate student from Butler University interested in a Supply Chain Data Analytics Internship to engage with our team on various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity.

Here's How You'll Make Impact:

In this program, the student will provide entry to intermediate level project support, extracting and managing data metrics for the business, as well as building out and structuring of files under the supervision of professional staff. During the internship, the student will have the opportunity to build and develop skills related to owning the data management for operations of the business, as well as tracking and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of the business's metrics. A balance of priorities will be key to operating successfully in the role.

What You'll Do On A Daily Basis:

• Working with the business to extract and analyze data, they will use for their daily jobs.
• Update data dashboards and files.
• Manage orders coming in from outside customer.
• Manage the data tables to ensure correct information is being presented to the business.

• Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal).
• INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED skills with Microsoft Office and learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually.
• Demonstrated success in data file management and ability to make complicated data from multiple sources into a clear and concise report.
• Excel (power & pivot tables/sensitivity analysis/formulas).
• Experience, and, or, working knowledge of Python or R programming language a plus.
• Building out of file structure.
• Knowledge of formatting data for dashboards.

• Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Daily activity includes but is not limited to:

• Reading, communication, keyboarding, lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching.
• Ability to attach chains to charms; and dangles to badges and guards with jeweler's pliers (will train).
• Ability to sit/stand for long period of times at a selling event.
• Capability to tolerate moderate to loud noise environments specifically, during selling event.
• Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
