Job Description:

Ferguson, North America’s leading value-added distributor, seeks a Counter Sales Representative to join its team. The company serves residential, non-residential, new construction, and repair, maintenance, and improvement markets, offering local expertise and an extensive portfolio of products. The role involves providing customer advice, processing orders, operating cash registers, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on product selection.
• Process orders using the order management system.
• Operate cash registers and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Restock merchandise and organize products.
• Ensure a safe working environment, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm and rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm

Pay: starting at $17 per hour or higher depending on experience

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of experience preferred.
• Basic product knowledge preferred.
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Basic math skills for cash accounting.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
