Marketing Specialist at Best Buy in Richfield, Minnesota

Job Description:

As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for assisting with campaign set-up, execution and optimization. This includes various aspects of omni-channel strategic planning, development and deployment as well as budget management for major Best Buy domestic business units and product lines. This will include lower funnel channels such as paid search, sponsored products and affiliates.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

• Assist the team with campaign set-up, execution and optimization


• Produce reports and assist with the team’s efforts to analyze program performance and provide relevant optimization recommendations


• Assist the team with the deployment of performance marketing best practices across accounts, campaigns and devices


• Update various tracking, monitoring and auditing files that are used for daily, weekly and monthly business rhythms


• Assist with various A/B testing on messaging, landing pages and on-site targeting capabilities


• Communicate with internal and external business partners to help with efforts to align on search strategy and stay current on trends

• Ability to execute projects on time under general direction


• Strong project management, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills


• High attention to detail


• Quantitative and qualitative data analyses skills, with experience in Excel


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Experience with PowerPoint

• Background in digital marketing channels or social media


• Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., experience with macros, pivots, Vlook-ups, etc.)
