Job Description:

Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Manager for Huntington Beach Company. Required retail or restaurant industry experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities:



• Oversees the functional operations of Human Resources team including, hiring and retention, administering pay, benefits, LOA, company records, retention, employee relations, and developing, maintaining, and enforcing company policies and practices, etc. Lead, direct, and supervise the HR team to effectively support the Company's operations.


• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.


• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.


• Maintains knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.


• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, systems, tactics, across the organization.


• Provides subject matter expert support and guidance to HR team, management, and employees on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR questions and issues.


• Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's' HR support needs.


• Maintain and enhance competitive employee pay and benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement, and vacation.


• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.


• Support management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.


• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution.


• Oversee employee discipline, terminations, and investigations.


• Partner with Operations to oversee the recruitment, selection, and hiring process. Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of workforce.


• Nurture a positive working environment that is inclusive, collaborative, and focused on teamwork.


Qualifications:



• 5+ years' experience in a Human Resources management role with strong experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Recent work experience.


• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or another related field is preferred.


• Experience in multi-site retail or restaurant environment is preferred.


• Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, benefits, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong conflict resolution skills.
