Job Description:

Ferguson, a leading distributor in North America, is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Associate to join their team. The role involves various warehouse duties such as receiving and registering inbound shipments, facilitating the flow of goods, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, resolving orders, and picking and packing goods for dispatch. The position also entails operating a forklift, preparing outbound customer orders, building and transporting pallets and packages, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Starting at $25/hr

Schedule M - F 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct registration of inbound shipments.
• Perform general warehouse duties to facilitate the flow of goods.
• Assist site management in complying with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Resolve orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold by liaising with other departments.
• Pick and pack goods for dispatch.
• Adhere to company compliance and health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of warehouse experience preferred, particularly in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid state-issued license.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn systems.
• Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
