Responsibilities:
  • Act as a primary resource for identifying and resolving quality issues, reporting losses, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design development projects, representing Quality Assurance and advocating for customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9000, and ISO14001 requirements, applying them effectively in our processes.
  • Champion quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, and documentation, promoting adherence throughout the organization.
  • Assist in process certification and coordinate with production to address product, personnel safety, or equipment/tooling issues.
  • Proficient in programming techniques for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), vision systems, and articulating arms.
  • Review customer purchase orders, contracts, and change requests to ensure quality and process criteria are met.
  • Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures, providing insights to management on quality trends and issues.
  • Review supplier purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements, fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives to address quality assurance concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver training material on quality standards and activities as needed.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of safety guidelines, promptly reporting any hazardous conditions to supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, and permutations.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem definition, data collection, and conclusion drawing.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and CAD drawings.
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting process or production-related issues.
  • Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, including shop math.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
