NES Fircroft is a Global Staffing provider to the Power Generation industry. We are currently looking for an experienced and hands on Battery Service Engineer for a full time direct hire position.
Job Responsibilities:
Represent NES Fircroft on customer sites to support programmes as required by the business.
Assembly and repair of complete battery packs including all cooling sub-assemblies, wiring harnesses, mechanical enclosures and fixings.
Diagnostics, testing and validation of HV battery packs.
Fault identification and repair of HV battery packs
Arming of battery packs to High Voltage.
Safety checks and risk evaluation battery packs.
Management of spares and tooling provision.
Preparation and dispatch of battery packs between different sites.
Manage Work orders and replacement parts for serviceable packs.
Liaising with procurement and materials control to ensure sufficient spares stock is maintained.
Maintaining accurate, traceable records.
Compile pack status reports ahead of factory returns.
Support repairs schedules as required.
Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and build/assembly instructions.
Comply with and promote all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations.
Support the business in any reasonable way as required.
Coordination of on-site logistics, packing of battery packs and components.
