An aerospace client is looking for an Engineering Technician who will be responsible for production support engineering with respect to picking up component data packages.
Location: Linthicum, MD 21090 (Onsite)
Position: Engineering Technician
Pay Rate: $30 to $32/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months or longer
Schedule: 5/40 schedule, but can consider a 9/80
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for production support engineering concerning picking up component data packages from receiving inspection, reviewing data packages against documented requirements, scanning and uploading data packages to the system repository, and approving data packages as appropriate.
Knowledge of EEE Components and Parts Management processes a plus.
Organization - capable of following a process from start to finish
Attention to Detail - data may be missing or incorrect
Ability to Collaborate - ability to work with others
Not afraid to ask questions
Self-management
Capable of maintaining a schedule
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
US Citizenship is required.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Anyone with documentation experience in the past will be valuable (6-part drawing format as well as Military specifications)
1 year of experience is preferable with document review.
