Summary of Responsibility:
The Sales Coordinator Intern role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to make an impact. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and Sales Development. Lack of industry knowledge is not a problem! What matter is your eagerness and desire to be successful, as we will teach you the necessary skills.
This position is Onsite - Not Remote or Hybrid
What You Will Contribute:
The Sales Coordinator Intern will learn what a Sales Development division and Marketing team contributes to the outside sales team. You will enter and develop quality sales pipeline for the outside sales team.
Send qualified leads to outside sales team.
Research and pre-qualify potential new leads.
Assist in follow up on aging leads.
Identify key decision makers and update database list of contacts.
Build reports in Salesforce to assist Sales Development Team and others.
Update accounts in Salesforce and create new ones as needed.
Work with Head of Marketing and Sales Development to improve process.

What you will bring:
Currently enrolled in a 4-year college program.
0-2 years professional experience (prior sales experience is not required, although preferred)
Strong desire to learn

Discipline; organization; diligent time management
Desire to achieve independently, but also work in a fun, team atmosphere.
