We are seeking a Director of Operations who will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively contributes to all leadership team initiatives, shaping objectives, strategies, and execution plans. Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and operational expertise to drive innovative solutions.
Leads and manages day-to-day operations to ensure efficient execution of company strategies and tactics as defined by the leadership team.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and policies to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
Leverages technology, data, and business automation to maximize overall efficiency.
Optimizes resource allocation, including people, equipment, and budget, to maximize efficiency and achieve operational targets.
Success in the first year involves improving and standardizing engineering, accounting, and production processes to support strong revenue growth.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience selecting, training, evaluating, and developing team members.
A proven track record of successfully leading operational initiatives, change management, and driving business results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
B.S. or M.S. degree in operations management, business administration, or engineering-related field.
5+ years of operations experience in a technology or manufacturing company with management responsibility.
Pluses
Business systems integration and automation for an optimized sales and production process flow.
Experience with specification and implementation of ERP, MES, or similar enterprise software.
Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Experience with test and instrumentation products or continuous manufacturing processes, especially extrusion.
