Virtual Job Fair for Disabled College Students in the State of California making the transition from school to work Coming October 24th 2007!
Hi, my name is Diana Corso and I am the Founder/Chairman of disABLEDperson Inc. This is a preliminary email to inform you that on October 24th 2007, disABLEDperson Inc. will be hosting a Virtual Online Job Fair for Disabled College Students making the transition from school to work in the State of California on our web portal www.disABLEDperson.com and we are offering you company the opportunity to participate.
Participating Colleges and Universities To date we have written confirmation of participation from the Career Centers and Disability Student Services from the following private schools: Stanford University, University of Southern California, University of San Diego, California Baptist University, Azua Pacific University, California Lutheran University, Harvey Mudd and Claremont McKenna Colleges. More schools are confirming daily.

More confirming daily!

Logistics: How it will work! Here is how it will work. Simply, the student comes to our site on the day of the fair, click on our Fair Page where they will see a list of participating employers. Click on an employer where they will be directed to your profile page that will describe if you like your diversity practices. The page if you wish can also hold current job openings. The candidate will then click on a hyperlink that will direct them to a private chat room with a recruiter from your company where your recruiter can then decide if they would like to further pursue the candidate. disABLEDperson Inc. can limit the number of individuals at any given time who enter the chat room. That number will be decided by the individual company.
disABLEDperson Inc. understands that different companies handle online resumes in different ways. That being said, we will do our best to accommodate you as best we can. We will encourage the candidates to post their resume in our recruitABILITY database prior to the Fair so the recruiter can access it. Another option is for us to place a form for resume submission on your profile page and direct the form once submitted to be emailed to the email address of your choice. Again, we will do our best to accommodate you. Finally, we can direct them as you wish.
Cost to Participate There is a suggested donation to our charity of $1500 to participate. This fee is not mandatory.
Due to logistic constraints, we are limiting the number of employers Statewide to 50.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 760-420-1269 or email us at disabledpersons@aol.com Thanks! Diana Corso
