Online; the Style Network, the destination for women 18-49 with a passion for the best in relatable and inspiring lifestyle programming; and G4, offering the last word on gaming, technology, animation, interactivity and "Internet culture" for the male 18-34 demo.

PURPOSE: To identify and oversee new pilots and series projects for the Style Network and to help grow the Style Network brand as a competitive lifestyle network for cable.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with the selling community
Identify producer candidates for project assignments and new development
Take new project pitches, assess and communicate the ideas internally and make recommendations for action.
Work both alone and with production partners to develop material into viable entertainment vehicles
To generate original and unique show concepts for Style
Be the liaison between internal departments, to communicate and coordinate information flow for all applicable projects
Oversee the pre-production, production and post-production process on all applicable projects - pilots, presentation and new series productions
Identify casting opportunities and new talent
Keep track of incoming creative material
Keep track of competitive network slates and trends, and help keep us ahead of what's next
Help to train and motivate the Development and New Series in expanding their development and production skills
Oversee New Media ventures as related to our programming
Generate original ideas and seek out new opportunities for short form development and programming
Other duties as assigned, as needed.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5-7 years experience in Television production with creative and/or executive responsibilities. Creative, out of the box thinker who is passionate about lifestyle programming. Responsible, level headed, extremely organized and the ability to handle deadlines a must. Thorough knowledge of industry professionals necessary. Must be team-oriented, dedicated and driven individual, self starter, pro-active, proficient at multi-tasking, work well under pressure and deadlines. Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal relations skills common to the development and production process are essential. Significant experience with both development and production of non-scripted television programming mandatory. Network or Studio experience a plus. Cable network experience an advantage.
