Major Duties:
- Issue and collect converters, equipment and other supplies.
- Maintain detailed records of the names and other identifying data concerning installers, technicians, and other personnel involved in the transactions.
- Post information in ledgers or to other records, extract data from receiving or shipping papers, requisitions, contracts, accounting reports, and other documents.
- Prepare and issue converters to field personnel on a daily basis to comply with installation requirements.
- Compile converter control records, consumption data, distribution data, characteristics of items in storage, and related factors necessary to ensure control.
- Verify accuracy of requisitions and orders by comparing nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references.
- Prepare and maintain inventory control trending reports to management.
- Maintain upkeep of warehouse facility and equipment.
- Drive and make deliveries as required.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Required Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
- Education (High School diploma or equivalent)
- Preferred 1-2 years warehouse environment experience.
- Standing for long periods of time (8 hrs minus breaks)
- Proficient computer skill sets to include excel, word, and the ability to learn various inventory control software applications
- Work schedule to be 6am-3:00pm daily also to include a rotational weekend schedule, must be available every other weekend. (Saturday and Sunday)
- Repetitive lifting (up to70lbs)
- Ability to lift objects up to 50Lbs over head on a continual basis.
- Fork lift experienced preferred or has the ability to complete a forklift certification class. (loading and unloading trucks)
- Willing to work in adverse weather conditions. (non air conditioned warehouse environment as well as exterior weather conditions)
- Inventory control experience preferred. (shipping, receiving, Mintek scanning)
- Valid drivers license
- Must have the ability to pass the Comcast defensive driving class. (Position requires occasional pick up and delivery of materials at outer systems)
