Vehix seeks an automotive specialist to manage Vehix sales in the Los Angeles market. This is a great opportunity for a proven sales professional to represent Vehix - one of the fastest growing automotive sites on the web. The Automotive Account Manager will be responsible for selling Vehix dealer listings, advertising and the Vehix Local Ad Network to local automotive dealerships and dealer groups. Vehix and a top rated Los Angeles broadcast TV station are partnered in Los Angeles. This position is an outside sales position and is based in the broadcast TV office.
Job Description:
Prospecting, selling, closing dealers and follow up with reporting. Collaborate with broadcast TV ad sales team on strategy and targeting. Build Vehix customer (dealer) base in Los Angeles. Continuously manage site traffic and marketing efforts.
Required Skills:
4 year degree or equivalent experience in related field. Minimum of 2 year experience presenting and selling directly to dealers; will also consider solid media sales or internet product sales experience. Proven track record in prospecting and closing business. Knowledge of retail auto industry. Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. Impeccable time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of automotive internet products a plus. Valid driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurability. Reliable transportation required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel.
