Job Summary:
This position will provide assistance to guests by coordinating guest requests for special arrangements or services. Inform guests of hotel services, features, room amenities and conduct ticket sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as an ambassador to meet and greet guests in the hotel lobby.
  • Assist guests with questions regarding local attractions, restaurants and
    entertainment venues.
  • Make dining and other reservations for guests and obtain event tickets.
  • Make arrangements for attractions, tours and transportation for guests.
  • Maintain a house bank of predetermined amount. Balance house bank at the end of each shift.
  • Perform cash and charge transactions.
  • Assist guests with directions to rooms, outlets and services throughout the hotel
    and local area.
  • Assist guests with information regarding airport transportation, foreign currency exchange, safe deposit boxes, wheelchairs, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of local maps and brochures.
  • Assist guests with issues and complaints, exercising judgment as to supervisory involvement.
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum six months guest service experience required preferably in a front office or concierge operation. Experience in a hotel with a Diamond rating of 4 or 5 preferred. Excellent communication skills required for guest, client and meeting planner interactions. Must be fluent in verbal and written English. Basic computer skills required.
