A senior management position and high visibility role that provides Engineering leadership to drive common and integrated solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of high-availability, scalable collection and processing systems to support web census measurement
- Create, communicate, and evangelize technology strategies
- Communicate with clients to align our strategy with their needs and capabilities
- Lead creation of advanced tagging standards and generate competitive advantages for the Nielsen company
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions
- Lead definition of innovative approaches to integrate web census measurement solutions with our clients' workflow
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (technical discipline preferred such as mathematics, engineering, or computer science)
- Expertise with massively parallel processing systems, cluster computing, and/or grid computing
- Driven leader
- Strong presentation skills and proven experience communicating to senior stakeholders
