Lead Program Manager at INCCONTINUUM PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS (CPS) in Guilford, Connecticut

Job Description:

As the Lead Program Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of our client engagement, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional software solutions that simplify healthcare through technology. You'll spearhead multiple concurrent projects, fostering strong relationships within our organization and the client's, steering every endeavor towards a successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Management Expertise:

    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines for assigned projects.

    • Track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, product) to gather progress updates and address project needs.

    • Implement agile methodologies to ensure efficient and flexible project execution.

    • Accountable for the successful completion of a project’s deliverables

    • Develops, updates, and actively manages a comprehensive project plan, including tasks, start and end dates, work effort, resource assignments, milestones, and critical path.

    • Documents project scope and manage changes in scope in accordance with change control procedures. 

    • Actively leads the project planning process, stages, and customer engagement. 

    • Drives collaboration between functional teams and customers to achieve milestones and deliverables.

    • Ensures major decisions are documented and communicated.

    • Identifies and document issues.  Works with project team to resolve.

    • Documents actions items and verify completion.

    • Facilitates meetings.  Ensures agenda and minutes are published.

    • Ensures project artifacts are stored in a location in line with company policies and are accessible by appropriate team members.

    • Drafts Statement of Work (SOW) or Change Request (CR) as appropriate.



  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the healthcare insurance company.

    • Manage expectations, proactively address concerns, and ensure consistent communication and transparency.

    • Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to drive strategic alignment and project goals.

    • Implement and manage quality assurance and risk management processes.



  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to both internal and external teams, providing valuable insights and problem-solving expertise.

    • Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

    • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement within the program.

    • Delegate tasks effectively, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure accountability



Skill Requirements: 


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the healthcare or technology sector.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects concurrently.

  • Experience building and maintaining project plans utilizing an off-the-shelf project management tool like MS Project. Experience with JIRA is a plus

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience with Change Management and the need to manage and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams.

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare insurance landscape and its technological needs is a plus.

Education/Certification Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or PMP, PMI certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Local to Guilford, CT and able to collaborate onsite in-office as needed (preferred)

In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency laws, MHK is required to include a reasonable estimate of compensation for this role if hired in Connecticut.  The reasonable estimate for base salary if hired is $120,000 - $135,000.   Please note this information is only an estimate and specific to those hired in Connecticut.   A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
