Job Description:

The PLS Distribution Center Process Expert will be responsible for ensuring that all core processes related to an Automotive Parts Distribution Centers (PDC) are optimized to work as part of the global SAP-EWM solution. The position will also require working knowledge of the transportation solution (ShipERP) and core functions related to parts sales and returns (SAPSD/MM). This position will act as the liaison between warehouse resources and both local and global IT teams responsible for the SAP-EWM platform and related components. The position will be based out of our Atlanta corporate office with significant travel supporting three PDC's across the US. This position will be an individual contributor role and report to the CEO of Logistics Services. The position will be responsible for ongoing day to day functional support, training and documentation related to the use and operations of the SAP-EWM solution. This includes driving consistent and optimized best-practice processes across each of the different PDC's. The position will also be responsible for supporting and testing system changes related to new functionality and upgrades associated with the global platform. This position will coordinate master data changes, end user variant configurations and management reporting related to SAP-EWM. Position will NOT be responsible for any direct SAP configuration or custom programming.

Roles & Responsibilities: • Support of end-to-end SAP-EWM processes, which include Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, RF device integration, TU management, HU management, cross docking and other key processes. • Support business users with day-to-day system questions and issues including escalation to IT support teams when necessary. • Assist in the development, standardization and maintenance of business processes, work instructions and end-user documentation. • Develop a formalized program to train and onboard new users with regards to appropriate system usage. • Generate and prepare necessary system reports, documentation and/or presentations for the warehouse operations and company leadership. • Lead and collaborate with the parts warehouse's teams in the planning and execution of EWM related changes and updates. • Identify, design, and help implement internal warehouse process improvements, which may include automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and parameter standardization. • Support all system related test planning and execution for all related changes and upgrades - including user-acceptance testing and regression testing. • Maintenance of master data related to core PLS processes within SAP-EWM and ShipERP systems. • Execute and support warehouse process governance and KPI activities. • Maintain system data integrity and support periodic data updates and testing to support ongoing EWM updates and enhancements. • Implementation, testing and validation of change requests to improve warehousing & distribution processes. Test EWM business transactions to fulfill the user acceptance testing. • Create and maintain a "User Training Manual" and System Understanding Documents for change management. • Stay up to date on current and future business policies, procedures, and workflows within PLS that are impacted by core systems and platforms. • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Required qualifications include: • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or equivalent work experience is required. • Minimum 5 years in depth experience with SAP EWM as a team lead or super user with focus on small parcel transportation management processes. • Working knowledge of other SAP modules (SD, MM) and how these interrelate with EWM. • Warehouse, distribution, and transportation logistics business process knowledge and experience, as well as compliance and documentation. • Must have experience in EWM-ERP Master Data integration via Core Interfaces, labor management. • Exposure and understanding of Radio Frequency (Mobile data entry) functionalities within a warehouse environment. • Good exposure in Handling Unit / Batch Management processes. • Strong verbal and written communications skills in order to interact with users at all levels throughout the organization with varying technical backgrounds. • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment is required. • Strong business process design skills. • Capable of working independently and on a variety of tasks with minimal supervision. • Ideal individual will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. • Fluent in English - reading, writing, speaking.

Additional qualifications include:
• Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management. • Knowledge of automotive related industry. • Previous experience in fast-paced warehouse operations at a super user capacity, helping various business users from transaction point of view. • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as you will work one-on-one with all levels of the organization. • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections. • Self-Starter with Root Cause Analysis skills. • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Good MS Excel skills required (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) Percentage of required travel: up to 50%
