Job Description Summary

The Learning Experience Team Leader works with the Leadership Development Director, the Learning and Development Leadership team (SMC) and HR Leadership to delivery impactful training solutions for both new and existing employees. Additionally, this position has advanced experience with facilitation methodology, team coaching and skills development. They use these skills to maximize learning resources and deliver an exceptional Learner Experience with every interaction.

Desired Candidate Profile

The Learning Experience Team Leader has worked within financial services & learning for an extended period and possesses a detailed understanding of learning strategy, policy, navigation, tools and process. Advanced education in Human Resources or related educational field is beneficial to fully understand the scope of training needs vs. business needs vs individual development needs. Individuals who possess excellent leadership competencies and team coaching skills will excel in the Learning Experience Team Leader position.

What You’ll Do


  • Leads a team that facilitates learning experiences for all levels in classroom and virtual formats

  • Coaches the facilitation team on technique and industry-leading best practices.

  • Communicates clearly and expressively and is easily understood, makes concise points, and displays appropriate level of energy

  • Brings the learning to life by helping the learner connect the concepts/skills to their roles

  • Supports evaluation and measurement of programs and implements improvements as needed

  • Supports team toward achieving department goals and priorities

  • Consults and liaises with other members of the L&D & HR organization

  • Hybrid work environment-three days in-office, two days remote.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in virtual and in-person facilitation roles in corporate L&D, education, or professional settings

  • 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring L&D facilitation teams

  • Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task, flex, think on your feet and perform effectively under time constraints

  • Advocate for personal development that maintains field relevance and future interests and applications

  • Problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Working proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint, TEAMS and high learning agility for new and emerging technologies

Professional Experience & Competencies:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or related L&D experience preferred.

  • Thorough understanding of most facilitation techniques & tools.

  • Ability to moderate large groups both live and virtually.

  • Ability to provide facilitation feedback and coaching to elevate the learning experience.
