What You’ll Do

Ensure timely and accurate handling of General Ledger and Internal DDA related activities, system maintenance changes and updates, while identifying and reporting errors and inconsistencies for attention and correction. Provide internal and external support for customer dispute requests and research


  • Utilize the reconciliation system to perform and review daily, monthly or quarterly reconciliations by analyzing and comparing transaction data from various external and internal sources to general ledger transactions and determine outstanding reconciling items including: Loan Control, ACH and NSF clearing, posting rejects, and unapplied Funds.

  • Analyze, research and resolve complex inquiries through tasks in compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Research and analyze reconciling items, as necessary, to determine how they might be resolved/cleared by working with various departments within the company and other outside sources.

  • Assist in the preparation of key performance indicators on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Review and address all research requests for quality, completeness and accuracy.

  • Participate in special projects for the department as assigned.

  • Ensure proper file maintenance on customer loans.

  • Take ultimate accountability for the achievement of goals set forth by management.

  • Work in team environment and assist with other teams, as needed.  Be a contributor in team huddles.  Participate on special projects for department as assigned. 

Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience


  • 3-5 years' financial services experience

  • 2+ years in banking operations

  • General Ledger reconciliation experience beneficial
