Job Description
We are searching for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to create back-end software for existing mission critical applications. Additionally, the developer will be required to fix defects in legacy code. This position will be full-time and onsite .

Must be able to interpret business requirement documents, write functional code and unit test
Will be required to fix defects in legacy code
Work in a team environment
work with source control on multiple simultaneous branches
Participate in requirements analysis
Take direction from senior developers
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software
Write clean, scalable code
Unit test and prepare applications for deployment
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Improve existing software
Create documentation as required
Provide production support
Provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed
Ability to work remotely and/or on-site
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad, SQL Plus
Ability to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures
Ability to work with collections
Ability to work with async processes
Interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions
Ability to create complex DML and debug
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Attention to detail is of the utmost importance
Should be a team player and excellent communicator
Must be able to work with source control on multiple simultaneous branches
Ability to work remotely and/or on-site
Provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed
Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of development experience
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
