In this role, you will be the primary liaison between clients and project teams, overseeing projects from initial pursuit to the start of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver top-tier preconstruction services by seamlessly managing both internal and external project teams.
Foster clear and proactive communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout.
Lead bidding and estimating efforts, covering all stages from project inception to contract pricing, including conceptual estimation and bidding.
Develop comprehensive project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines by holding project stakeholders accountable.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Spearhead communication flow to distribute crucial background information and provide context for project direction.
Streamline project documentation processes and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.
Collaboratively identify project risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in estimating and/or project management.
Ability to effectively guide, direct, and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Proven capability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to the company's interests.
Extensive knowledge of construction means/methods.
Proficiency in scheduling, cost estimating, and project management.
