Summary


Lincoln Electric is seeking an IT Sourcing Specialist for our global operations. As a IT Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering sourcing, contracting and vendor management services for IT products and services which align with Lincoln Electric's requirements and support growth, productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal outcomes and drive continuous improvement. You will be part of a matrixed, center-led procurement organization whose vision/mission is to be a world-class procurement organization which delivers high quality products and services on-time, at the optimal cost, the right way.



** This position can be remote. However, quarterly trips to our Euclid, OH global headquarters will be required**

What You Will Do:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of a global IT sourcing plan and/or strategy, aligned with business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to plan and execute sourcing initiatives designed to arrive at optimal vendor, solution and contractual outcomes.
  • Negotiate and manage comprehensive contracts, as assigned, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Establish and manage relationships with assigned IT vendors and business partners, ensuring optimal service, delivery, value and compliance with contract terms.
  • Leverage appropriate sourcing and procurement tools/resources to identify suitable vendors and improve cost/value position.
  • Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Work with legal to ensure appropriate legal protections are included in contracts.
  • Leverage risk management tools and processes to assess and mitigate vendor risk.
  • Contribute to IT sourcing performance metrics goals, including cost savings/avoidance, quality and delivery.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT sourcing, and apply relevant insights and knowledge to improve IT sourcing processes and outcomes.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field preferred. Sourcing certifications, encouraged.
  • 10 years of experience in sourcing, contracting and/or vendor management, preferably in manufacturing and/or distribution with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience navigating IT systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) including eRFx, eAuction, PO to invoice, etc.
