Position Overview:
The Insulet Human Factors team is looking for enthusiastic and team-focused individuals that have a desire to learn and apply Human Factors principles to design safe, effective and usable products for the diabetes-care industry.
The Co-op, Human Factors Engineering will be integral to the completion of Human Factors deliverables needed for the definition, design, and evaluation of medical devices within the diabetes-care industry. You will be joining a small, dynamic team of Human Factors Engineers to contribute to the design and development of next-generation diabetes products prior to commercial release. The ideal candidate is someone who has an interest in Human Factors, thrives in highly collaborative environments, is an analytical thinker, has a high level of curiosity when solving problems, and wants to make a direct impact on patient lives by ensuring the products they use achieve world-class safety and usability.
The position will report to a Sr. Human Factors Engineer in the Human Factors Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
As a Co-op, Human Factors Engineering, you will assist in executing Human Factors activities in accordance with industry standards (FDA guidance documents and recognized standards including 62366 and HE75) for a next-generation diabetes product.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $23.00 - $31.25. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
