Our client is seeking to add a Senior Premium Audit Specialist to their Midwest Region. This person would be responsible for conducting premium audits for Workers' Compensation and Commercial Liability policies. This person will also conduct physical (on-site) audits for local insureds to establish appropriate classification, exposures, and premiums. This position is fully remote position with some travel around the Greater Nashville area.
Establish appropriate classifications, exposures, and basis of premium.
Schedule and conduct physical audits for Workers' Compensation and Commercial Liability policies by reviewing the customer's business operations and recording classification-related data from financial business records.
Provide insureds and internal customers (underwriting, claims, and accounting) with information to assist in their understanding of audit-related matters, including audit statements, procedures, and worksheets.
Discuss issues and problems with insureds to ensure understanding of the change in premium and to maintain good customer relations.
Requirements:
3 - 7+ years of Commercial Liability and Workers' Compensation Premium Audit experience
Must be able to conduct field audits in the Greater Nashville area
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel including effective tools and methods for importing, analyzing, combining, and manipulating large worksheets with extensive data
Strong knowledge of the NCCI and ISO manual rules is highly preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Salary/Benefits:
$80,000 to $105,000 annual base salary
