Job Description:

The ideal candidate is a leader (coach and player) who can successfully develop and manage a diverse team. Leading by example you will help recruit and place candidates as well as solve client problems. Delivering exceptional service and helping develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Results and Execution: The Director will assist in developing, tweaking, and ensuring the execution of operational best practices in the recruiting team. As a Director, you are responsible for actively assisting in growing revenues by ensuring the recruiting team is sourcing, identifying, and placing the best talent available for AMBE's clients. Make timely and quality decisions. In addition, you will be expected to perform recruiting and business development activities as directed.

  • Infrastructure: The Director will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for their recruiting team. They will also be responsible for training, developing, and retaining their staff to create a high-performing, dynamic team. Develop current and future team members to better service our clients, consultants, and all applicants to improve their overall experience.

  • Business Analysis: Achieve revenue, margin, and operating income goals as the leader sets. Display an understanding of financial and business trends and develop/execute an appropriate strategy to achieve goals.

  • Communication: Effective communication includes company goals, setting clear expectations, developmental conversations, difficult feedback, recognition, etc. Host productive and strategic team meetings on an agreed-upon cadence. Inspire, motivate, energize, and lead by example.

  • Leadership Approach: Lead and manage change. Facilitate resolution with internal staff, departments, candidates, and clients alike. A servant leadership mentality placing the team ahead of self. Provide coaching, mentoring, and staff development-excellent follow-up and follow-through.

  • Customer and Candidate Focus: Build customer and candidate satisfaction and loyalty by developing a quality assurance and follow-up strategy. Ensure superior results are being delivered by conducting client calls, meetings, etc., regarding placements, fall-offs, canceled requisitions, and the overall quality of the recruiting team's service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 + years experience in management
  • 5 + years experience in recruiting in both a staffing firm and corporate talent acquisition capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills
