Responsibilities
- Collect and record data on patients' mental health status, behaviors, and progress.
- Assist in coding and analyzing data for research purposes.
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with autism or special needs.
- Implement and facilitate art therapy or dance therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions.
- Administer psychopharmacological treatments as prescribed by a psychiatrist.
- Provide counseling and support to individuals dealing with gender issues.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and its application in mental health treatment.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and experience working with individuals on the spectrum.
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques.
- Ability to conduct clinical research and analyze data effectively.
- Proficiency in art therapy or dance therapy techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy, patience, and compassion when working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
Minimum Requirements:
-Master of Counseling
-LPC or LCPC
