Job Description:

As an Environmental Specialist at Clean Earth, you'll be involved in the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste, ensuring a cleaner, greener planet. You'll work primarily at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN, collecting, segregating, packaging, and documenting hazardous materials for disposal. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to United Hospital in St. Paul, MN on specific days
• Collect hazardous and non-hazardous materials, deliver them to designated storage areas
• Track waste disposal and maintain accurate inventories
• Package materials for transport, complete required shipping documents
• Assist with reporting requirements and compliance
• Unload inbound trucks, load outbound trucks with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
• Follow health and safety procedures outlined by Clean Earth
• Maintain inventory and storage of hazardous materials according to regulations and policies
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State Driver's License
• Ability to wear personal protection equipment (PPE)
• Proficiency in English
• Willingness to get Covid-19 and Flu vaccinations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based software
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• 1+ years of warehouse related experience
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
