Job Description:

Clean Earth offers an opportunity for a rewarding career as a Lab Pack Chemist. As part of a dedicated team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the proper treatment and disposal of hazardous waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations and Clean Earth's policies.

Responsibilities:

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material.
• Perform onsite services such as waste collection, consolidation, sampling, and safety/compliance inspections.
• Assist other business groups and properly complete documentation in accordance with regulations.
• May require obtaining and maintaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement for vehicle operation.
• Promote and adhere to Health & Safety procedures.

Hours: Full-time, with moderate to extensive travel including 20% overnight travel.

Qualifications:

• Associate College degree in General Science or equivalent experience.
• Driver’s License with a clear record and physical ability to lift and move materials exceeding 55 lbs.
• Basic understanding of chemistry through general chemistry or biology preferred.
• Preferred qualifications include a BS/BA in a science-related field.
