Job Title: Sr Manager, Applications

Job Summary:

Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology. They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move high volume freight in a single day.This team works closely with all of our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience. As a Sr Manager, Applications you will help TForce Freight grow and provide valuable services across the globe.

Job Responsibilities:

Leads the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

This canidate is involved in full systems life cycle management (i.e., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of systems and applications software) delivered on time and within budget.

This position participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.

This position develops and leads Application Development project plans and integrations and collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies.

This canidate is responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned projects (i.e., results, deadlines, and budget).

This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for applications development, maintenance, and support.

Job Requirements:

• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience with Structured Systems Analysis
• Intermediate-level proficiency with SQL Language, Data Modeling, CICS Programming, CICS Web Support, TSO, SQL & PL/SQL, MVS/JCL, MVS/VTAM, WebSphere, MQ, Z/OS environment
• Advanced-level proficiency with Client Server Architecture, Technical Knowledge of Hardware & Software
• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent- preffered
