Engineering Compliance Intern - Summer 2024 at Ametek, Inc. in Kent, Ohio

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Engineering Compliance Intern for our Kent, OH facility. The Intern will work within our Engineering department alongside other engineers/mentors to complete actual projects and make invaluable contributions to the business. This internship will start in May/June 2024 and extend through August 2024.

Tasks may include:

• Assisting with the preparation of permits, reports, applications, and compliance programs
• Emissions calculations
• Environmental compliance audits
• Work on various engineering projects within the overall Engineering department

We are looking for:

• Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's degree such as Engineering or related field
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor
• Self-starter who is eager to learn
