Job Description:

Partner - Business Consulting, Hi-tech Practice
Infosys Consulting (IC) is seeking to hire a motivated, entrepreneurially minded consulting Partner to drive business for our North American hi-tech vertical strategy and business consulting practice across Semiconductor, hardware OEM, and Software & Platform companies.
As a Partner, you will drive profitable growth for the IC organization, using sound business-building skills and a strong commercial focus. You will collaborate with local and global Infosys practice leaders to build, sell, and deliver new, integrated, and differentiated business transformations, such as


  • Digital Supply Chain: Drive Supply chain transformation involving redesigning the supply chain strategy, processes, systems, and relationships to implement purpose-built supply chains.

  • XaaS: Help organizations across the globe that are adopting the as-a-service method to innovate, build, and scale all types of subscription and as-a-Service businesses and solve our client's most complex digital business model challenges.

  • Digital Experience: Driving the transformation of Contact Centers and improving Omni-channel experience management for consumers and enterprise customers to increase self-service adoption across Web, Mobile, IVR, and social media.

  • Revenue Growth: Develop product strategy and operations blueprint for monetization of software, hardware, and Services investments by working with Digital Services Providers and ecosystem partners to design.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Visioning: Determine and implement strategy for the North America hi-tech practice - where and how to compete and ensure operational discipline to enable practice growth. Develop strategies to position Infosys Consulting within current and prospective hi-tech Industry clients.
Business Planning: Collaborate with the team of practice leaders, horizontal partners, and Infosys sales partners to prepare the business plan for the global practice, estimate sales potential, identify key clients, devise geo strategies, identify collaboration opportunities, and actively contribute to the business planning of the group.
Practice Management: Manage practice economics (production, realization, utilization, billing, collections, etc.) and build a commercial business consistent with firm values.
Team Building: Strengthen and build a diverse team by attracting leading consulting talent at all levels, creating momentum and employer brand in the market that will attract "A players" who fit the culture
Knowledge Management: Identify and drive the creation of multi-format knowledge assets that present our latest insights and document our credentials with lessons learned.
Market Development: Providing thought leadership to build Infosys Consulting brand and create market buzz by publishing whitepapers, POV, podcasts, and speaking at conferences and roundtable executive events for CXOs
Drive Client Relationships: Identify, build, and strengthen professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives and expand professional network in client organizations. Be well acquainted with clients' business situations, able to speak on behalf of the client's best interests, or offer countering views of the client executives', if necessary.
Opportunity Identification/ Creation: Actively driving lead generation activities, soliciting new accounts, and capturing competitive pursuits. Create/ identify multi-million dollar opportunities using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, background in potential problem areas, knowledge of the shifting market landscape, and Infosys services offerings to create engagement opportunities.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with other consulting leaders to prepare large deal proposals and program plans, facilitate Infosys differentiators (like specific consulting frameworks, intellectual property, etc.), articulate value propositions, review and fine-tune the financials, and lead proposal presentations to create a compelling proposition for the client to engage Infosys.
Contract Negotiation: Analyze the probability of winning the deal & the criticality of the deal for Infosys, as well as appropriately prepare for negotiations on terms and conditions of the engagement with the client and obtain confirmation and approval from all internal stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth closure.
Engagement Delivery and Management: Guide the portfolio of projects through intellectual leadership and active partner participation. Review the progress periodically with the team and the client, focusing on delivering performance improvement across all aspects of the client's operations continuously evaluating the potential for enhancement of the bottom line.

Recruiting: Plan headcount distribution, identify upcoming skill needs and potential sourcing pools, interview candidates, influence a favorable perception of Infosys as an employer, and decide on offer details to ensure the practice has the required skills.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 20+ years of leadership experience, with solid sales/relationship management/account management experience

  • Consulting practice leadership experience with expert-level knowledge in Hi-Tech Industry challenges and opportunities (including AI- enabled Digital Transformation, Supply Chain transformation, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Product Life Cycle Management, Advanced analytics and Sales effectiveness

  • Ability to travel extensively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.B.A or equivalent advanced degree

  • 20+ years of leadership experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience with an industry or service offering focus.

  • Big Four or equivalent experience

  • Wide variety of business and technology consulting engagement experience; experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams is desirable.

  • Global Delivery Model experience

  • 5+ years' experience in Semiconductor industry and 5+ years broad Hitech industry experience in Software, Hardware, or OEM will be a plus.
