Basic Job Functions:



Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The Maintenance Inventory Controller and Planner will be responsible to quote products, create purchase requisitions, receive packages into our ERP system and then distribute packages to the proper location. This will include building a relationship with vendors to receive the best services. The Maintenance Planner is to implement and manage an inventory control system for the Maintenance Department. This position will be responsible for managing the CMMS system for creation of work orders and routine maintenance tasks and generating reports of those items.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience


• (2) years progressive experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Facility


• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills


• Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift


• Commitment to safety; actively involved in safety initiatives

• (2) years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment


• Experience working with a CMMS system


• Experience with Inventory management
